Cancellation Policy
Every listing shows its own policy. Here are Destina’s four standard schedules and how refunds are calculated.
Last updated 13 September 2026
Every listing shows its own cancellation policy before payment, on the booking page and on the summary. That is the one that applies. The schedules below are the ones vendors can choose from on Destina.
The four standard schedules
Flexible
Full refund up to 24 hours before the service starts. After that, the first night or the first session is due.
Moderate (the most common)
Full refund up to 5 days before the service starts. Between 5 days and 48 hours, 50% is refunded. Less than 48 hours before, no refund.
Strict
50% refunded up to 7 days before the service starts. After that, no refund.
Non-refundable
No refund, whatever the cancellation date. These listings are offered at a reduced rate and are clearly marked.
What is never refunded
The Destina service fee is retained, except where the vendor cancels. The tourist tax is never charged in advance: it is paid on site.
Cancellation by the vendor
If a vendor cancels a confirmed booking you are refunded in full, service fee included, and our team offers an equivalent alternative where one exists. Repeated cancellations lead to the suspension of the vendor account.
Refund timing
The refund is triggered as soon as the cancellation is validated. It appears on your statement within:
- 5 to 10 working days for a Moroccan card (CMI);
- 3 to 5 working days for PayPal.
No-show
Not turning up without cancelling first is treated as a late cancellation: no refund, whatever the schedule.
Force majeure
If an exceptional event makes the service impossible — an administrative closure, a natural disaster, an interruption of transport links — write to support@destination.ma. These cases are reviewed one by one, with the vendor, outside the published schedule.
Change rather than cancel
Many vendors accept a date change free of charge when it is asked for early. Open your booking from “My trips” and use Request a change before cancelling.
