Welcome to Destination.ma. We believe in complete transparency about what we charge. Our model supports local Moroccan businesses with both a free discovery directory and a booking marketplace.
1. Two kinds of business pages
A. Directory pages (not claimed): free
- Cost: 0 MAD, permanently.
- How it works: the basic public information (business name, category, address and public contact details) shown in our directory carries no hidden fee, subscription or commission.
- Bookings: calls, messages and visitors that come from a directory page go straight to the business. The platform takes no commission (0%).
B. Claimed and verified partner pages: commission only
- Cost: free sign-up, no monthly subscription.
- How it works: once a business owner claims their page (or creates a partner account) and passes our identity and business check, the page becomes an active storefront.
- Bookings: partners can take bookings and payments on Destination.ma. We charge a commission only on bookings made through the platform.
2. Our commission
The commission depends on your category (Stays, Riads, Tours, Cars, Events, Boats, Salons): 10–20% of the booking amount. Your exact rate is shown in your partner dashboard and in your partner agreement; a rate agreed with you in your agreement applies to your bookings.
- Bookings paid online: when a traveller pays by card (CMI, Visa, Mastercard) on Destination.ma, we collect the full amount, keep our commission and credit the rest to your partner balance.
- Bookings paid on site: when the traveller pays you on arrival, the booking is still recorded and the same commission applies. It is taken from your online balance when there is one, or added to your commission bill.
- Extras and fees: the commission also applies to extras booked at checkout and to any cancellation or no-show fee you keep.
- Bookings you enter yourself (0%): bookings you add by hand in your calendar (phone, walk-in) carry no commission, unless our settings say otherwise.
3. Payouts and bills
A. Payouts of your online balance
You can request a payout of your balance at any time, or choose an automatic payout:
- Weekly: every Monday.
- Monthly: on the 5th of each month.
- Delay: a transfer reaches your Moroccan bank account in 1–3 working days.
- Minimum and fee: a payout starts from 1,000 MAD, and a transfer fee of 25 MAD applies.
B. Commission bills
When commission is owed on bookings paid on site and your balance does not cover it, Destination.ma sends you an electronic bill.
- Time to pay: a bill must be paid within 7 days.
- If it stays unpaid: you receive reminders. Our team may then hide your offers from search results and, if the bill is still unpaid, suspend your partner account.
4. Tax and VAT
- Our VAT: Destination.ma charges and declares VAT only on its own commission and fees.
- Your taxes: we do not collect or declare the VAT on your own sales, tourist taxes or local levies. Declaring and paying them to the Moroccan tax authority (Direction Générale des Impôts) remains your own responsibility.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- Free cancellation: if a traveller cancels within the free-cancellation period of the offer (for example, up to 48 hours before arrival), they get back 100% of what they paid, including the platform's service fee.
- How it is settled: the booking is reversed in full: your share comes back from your balance and we give up our commission and fees.
